Whether it be mending your child’s shirt, making a quilt for a new grandchild, or creating a new bag to carry your groceries home, we are committed to helping you learn the sewing skills for all those creative ideas in your head. We can help with everything from opening the box of new sewing machine and helping you learn how to use the machine, to project based sewing classes, to one on one skill building instruction. We strongly emphasize “Progress over Perfection” in all we teach. We want each student to feel like they understand and feel a little more confident than before they came to our classes. No experience is required to take our classes but you simply must have fun and make new friends!
All machines and tools are provided for use, or you can bring your own if you’d like.

“Out of the Box” Class
$35.00
Book an up to 2.5 hour session going over your new sewing machine or one that you have received as gently loved gift. We show you how to use your machine, its features as well as general sewing machine care and usage information. Please submit a photo via email of the machine and model name week or more prior to your class so we may be prepared for your particular machine.
Beginner Sewing Class
$50.00
This class is for those who have never sewn, or it has been a long time since you have sewn. We go over parts of a sewing machine, threading, bobbin winding, changing a needle, and things to consider when purchasing your own machine. All machines for the class are provided. It is not necessary to own a machine to take the class. A Class Project will be completed at the end of the informational discussion and exercises. A material list will be sent to you after you register. This class runs about 3.5 to 4 hours long. Children ages 10 and up may attend as a student with a adult who is also taking the class.
